Finally the moo-ney is here
Yep, it's finally in. It's been like 2 months since I got the JJ Entrepreneurship Award. Yep, it sounds funny, but what the heck, it's an award! Yippe. Since then, I was painstakingly waiting day and night for that $100 to be transferred to my bank account.
And wah la, 10th September 2008 is now labeled as a magical day! LOL, my grandfather was checking the letterbox and wth? He said it was a letter from AIG. Since when did I buy insurance from them? Pfft... Anyway, people may say it's just $100, but to me it's more than $100. The journey I went through was worth more than $100 and is also not for the faint-hearted. Yes, I repeat not for the faint-hearted. It was 9 months of doing business, losing money, gaining money, facing different types of people. And worse still, Ying Quan! He's one hell of a kind. Dunno what to say.
Anyway, I would like to thank Mr Koh, for allowing us to go to Nigeria, despite being told that darn SMU was supposed to pay for our flights. Pfft... Turns out to be a booby-trap lol. The fact that one ticket costs more than $5000 made me realise how serious Mr Koh is at wanting to make JJC put on a strong entrepreneurship front. I can predict, if Mr Koh were to remain in this school, and with the support of students, JJC will be in the light of schools like Pennsylvania? Brewing business minds? You never know.
